Yes the progesterone cream will help with ovulation pains. It is one of the symptoms of too much estogen and an imbalance between the two hormones. There are actually over 80 symptoms according to Dr. John Lee. I only listed a few of them.

If you have a question and there isn't a thread on it yet, just start one and I'll chime in. Thanks!

The herb chasteberry is widely used in Europe as a treatment for PMS symptoms. More than most herbs, chasteberry is frequently called by its Latin names: Vitex or Vitex agnus-castus.

A double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 178 women found that treatment with chasteberry over 3 menstrual cycles significantly reduced PMS symptoms. The dose used was one tablet 3 times daily of a chasteberry dry extract. Women in the treatment group experienced significant improvements in symptoms, including irritability, depression, headache, and breast tenderness.
Unfortunately, there is little corroborating evidence as yet for this one well-designed study.

A previous double-blind trial compared chasteberry to vitamin B6 (pyridoxine) instead of placebo.9 The two treatments proved equally effective. However, because vitamin B6 itself has not been shown effective for PMS Even better evidence indicates that chasteberry can help the cyclic breast tenderness often, but not necessarily, connected with PMS.

Progesterone cream is sometimes recommended for PMS, but there is no meaningful evidence that it is effective.

preliminary studies suggest that magnesium may also be helpful in PMS. A double-blind, placebo-controlled study of 32 women found that magnesium taken from day 15 of the menstrual cycle to the onset of menstrual flow could significantly improve premenstrual mood changes.

Another small double-blind preliminary study found that regular use of magnesium could reduce symptoms of PMS-related fluid retention. In this study, 38 women were given magnesium or placebo for 2 months. The results showed no effect after one cycle, but by the end of two cycles, magnesium significantly reduced weight gain, swelling of extremities, breast tenderness, and abdominal bloating.

In addition, one small double-blind study (20 participants) found that magnesium supplementation might help prevent menstrual migraines. preliminary evidence suggests that combining vitamin B6 with magnesium might improve the results.
When posting something like this can you please also post the source. As we know with tanning there are many different points of view out there and I like to know where someone is coming from.

There is actually quite a lot of research on natural progesterone cream, much of it done by Dr. John Lee who studied it for over 30 years and wrote several books on the subject. What your doctor may not tell you about menopause. What your doctor may not tell you about premenopause. And what your doctor may not tell you about breast cancer which I believe is a must read for every woman. Dr. Christiane Northrup has also written several books on the subject. Another well know person who used natural hormones is Suzanne Sommers who wrote a book detailing her natural fight (and win) against breast cancer using natural progesterone cream.

Thanks again for posting your source.

I have almost 10 years of personal stories from women who are using natural progesterone cream for anything from night sweats and hot flashes, to migraine headaches and infertility. I have personally used Dr. Lee's instructions on infertility with 9 women who could not have children and all have children now. One is a friend of mine in Kansas who tried for several years and spent thousands on infertility treatments. After giving up she decided to try Dr. Lee's method using vitex and natural progesterone cream. She was pregnant 3 months later. She has since had 2 children.

I have a client who was 30 and had experienced 3 weeks of bleeding monthly for years. She had cysts on both ovaries. Her doctor scheduled her for a hysterectomy when I told her about the cream. She decided to put her surgery on hold and try the cream first. After just one month she had her first normal period since she was 14. Her doctor did a vaginal ultrasound and found that one cyst had disappeared and the other was the size of a quarter. By the next month it too had disappeared. She never had the surgery and today is a vital healthy woman getting married and looking forward to having children.

I have personally used this cream. My husband calls it miracle cream. He has watched the witchy woman turn into a calm wife. I don't have PMS anymore. I don't have horrible 4 day sick migraines anymore. I don't go around ready to bite heads off anymore.

I have had my 16 year old daughter use this cream (she is now 20). She went from being a moody, horrid child to a blessing. No more cramps, no headaches and no crabbiness.

These are just a tiny few of the experiences I've noted over the past 10 years. I could write a book on them. I've had women call me crying with thanks for helping them with this cream.

People who say this cream doesn't work just don't know. They have not seen what I've seen. And to me they are just like people all over that say that tanning isn't good for you. Totally discounting the immense good vitamin D does for you.

I've seen the studies and I've seen the personal results.

Estrogen is the building hormone. When unchecked by progesterone it continues to grow and grow. This is where we can get cysts, fibroids and even cancer. Unchecked cell growth. Progesterone is the cleansing hormone. Every month it is designed to flush out those extra cells. When you have too much estrogen and not enough progesterone you are set up for problems and start getting symptoms just like the ones above.

We get too much estrogen from our diets, our environment, stress and different medications we take. Because of stress most of us are low or have non-existent progesterone. When we balance these 2 hormones most of the issues listed disappear.

Yes. Is she going to be able to come in while I'm there? Hey I just had a great idea - how about we do a natural health class while I'm there. It's about 90 minutes and I go through everything from natural balance to nutrition. That would be fun and people really love hearing the info. We could do it that afternoon or even that evening that I'm there.

Yea I'm sure she will stop by at some point while you are here, she usually does! But she owns her own business as well so you know how that is, can never make definite plans. I'll let everyone know you're coming and I'll see if I can get a time out of them that they can come in so your not doing the same speech over and over!

How long do you think someone (like my mom) will have to use this cream before seeing/feeling results.

I tell people that your body is a giant puzzle. Every month that you start doing things right, including using the cream, more pieces get put into place. Within 6 - 8 months you are feeling like new again. Every month you will feel better and better. Some things happen quickly and others take a little longer and everyone is different. For example someone who is having trouble sleeping might sleep through the night after just a few days on the cream but it may take 3 months for their migraines to subside. Normally with period related stuff it takes about 3 months and sometimes it can actually be worse the first month or two. Remember progesterone cleanses so sometimes extra tissues are going to come out in the beginning. Same with migraines. Sometimes that first month or two they might be worse. Your body is going through a cleanse. By the third month though most people are feeling much better.

Is she doing the detox?
