Positive UV exposure information

So far gas prices here seem to be hovering in the same "painful" position they've been in for the last several years -- $2.50 - $3.25/gallon. Hasn't been any worse, or better, than that in a few years.

Haven't made any changes in pricing for customers. Have had to raise payroll. I couldn't get the staff I needed for $7/hour.

Our PPA is fine, we need more volume. Going to get much more aggressive in our advertising. There is a LOT of competition within spitting distance and we need to separate ourselves out from "the pack".

Hopefully the pro-tanning campaign will make it easier for people to "justify" their tanning budget and not be so quick to cut tanning out.

In regards to what we can control:
1. Offer customers that "wow" experience every time they come in, which in turn will make them want to tell their friends that are tanning elsewhere about our place.
2. Utilize our databases, by sending out mailers or e-mailers to customers that haven't been in for a while and offer them an incentive to come in (free tan, % off, etc.)
3. Advertise services/products that people are continuing to purchase someplace else.

I am in another sucky mood, and this must made it worse... urgh.. gas jumped from $2.62 to $2.88 overnight here... that is ridiculous

I'm hoping that the campaign is going to counter it. If they do what they say, then it won't be a cosmetic thing, but a healthy lifestyle thing to do.

I really hope they do what they say,,, but for years they have been saying they are gonna do something and nothing has been done. I will believe it when I see it myself. I got my hopes up too many times and nothing has happened.
