Default Tanning and Meds question

I've looked up on WebMD and didn't find anything. Yes, I could call the dr. but meh...

Question: I'm taking Zithromax and have noticed small blister/pimple like things popping up randomly since Tuesday. (I started taking them Monday.) I know you shouldn't tan when taking some medications...does anyone know if this Zithromax is one of them?

Thanks.

Absolutely - it is an antibiotic. Here's what I found:

More Information Avoid prolonged exposure to sunlight. Zithromax may increase the sensitivity of the skin to sunlight. Use a sunscreen and wear protective clothing when exposure to the sun is unavoidable.

Quote:
What should I avoid while taking Zithromax?

•Antibiotic medicines can cause diarrhea, which may be a sign of a new infection. If you have diarrhea that is watery or has blood in it, call your doctor. Do not use any medicine to stop the diarrhea unless your doctor has told you to.•Avoid exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays (sunlamps or tanning beds). Zithromax can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight and sunburn may result. Use a sunscreen (minimum SPF 15) and wear protective clothing if you must be out in the sun.

That new bed looks like a spaceship, does it move?

Thanks, guys. I either missed that entirely or I'm just dumb...

Don't answer that. I might cry.
