A Special Message
from Robert Kiyosaki

I have read a few of his books and he is awsome. The video is about 18 min long but it has some great info.

I have read a couple of Kiyosaki's books as well and the one thing that I like about him is that he does a very good job breaking things down to a very simple explanation. He uses a lot of "real life" examples.

Rob - do you have his Cashflow game? I hadn't heard of it until this video.

I liked it. So true!

My FIL is of the generation where you get a good job, squirrel every penny you can into CD's, low yield (but safe) stocks, and savings accounts. All the while depriving yourself and family of really enjoying life, fine dining, and vacations for fear of spending too much money.

I think one of the biggest disservice a parent can do is NOT teach their kids about money and how to handle it. Even though my mom had investments, mostly a stock portfolio, she never talked to me about financial matters. That was always a private subject with her.

So I grew up with the notion of going to work, getting a check and spending it on things I wanted. For most of my adult life, I have lived paycheck to paycheck. Finally, at 35 I got a clue and at 36 bought the salon. I'm afraid it's going to be too little, too late though.

Its never too late. You just might not make your retirement goal of 45 years old. But you will achieve your goals as long as you stick with it.

I've read his books, not bad, some good stuff to learn with. But I swear the guy trys to sell more crap to ya.

He reminds me of that guy from the 80's Tom Vu.

The concept is simple, execution is the tough part.

For me the salon was the plan. Work it hard (invest) until it can support itself and me. After all, tanning isn't rocket science and I can just hire young girls to run it for me....right?

Yah, what else ya got?
