Positive UV exposure information

yeppers!!! He was my boss, 12 years ago! i worked at one of his salons (16th street). and i give him credit for teaching me about the possitives of tanning even back then, and for sparking the desire to one day own my own tanning salon. He was the best boss... we had a lot of structure! i don't want to say that he was a hard ass, cause that sounds mean, but we had a list of what we were to be doing and there was no varying from that! If he called the salon and the phone was busy, he would call back and find out who we were on the phone with... because it had better have been a client!

i could have worked for him forever! i was pregnant though, and got into a car accident on Easter and needed to take some time off. He had just hired a crazy manager though, and she didn't want to give me time off, because her grandmother had just died for the second time and she wanted to mourn her in mexico with her best friend... so she didn't want to give me a few days to lay in bed and recover from teh accident and save my baby... so, i had to quit! that sucked so bad!!! i loved that salon and i loved dave!

and here i am today... YAY!!! (is it wrong to hope that SHE is rotting away somewhere?)

lotion distributer? i don't know if he would remember me, it's been 12-13 years, and he has what? 4 or 5 salons? and now he is a disty? you can tell him... i was pregnant and held up by gun point! and at the time i was hired, he had his friend working as a manager, her name was paula... she was AWESOME! But she was going through a hard time in her life and couldn't be manager anymore, so she left. he was very influential in my life!!! (so you can tell him i said thanks!)

i need to know where you are located... i will be there at the end of this week! i want to come see you and your amazing salon! we will be up around 57th ave and happy valley~ish area...

oohhhh... guess what else we are doing? ZOO LIGHTS! YAY!

Have you been to downtown Glendale for Glendale Glitters? If you have, there is this little ol' church on the outside of the park, 100+ years old, brick, amazingly full of grace and joy... That is the church that I was married in. And when my husband first showed me the church "that he was going to marry me in", he took me there in the middle of the night and it was just glowing, and we went back a couple weeks later to show my family, and it was during glendale glitters... so we always go there and see it that way again. but last year it was a zoo, and so commercial and it took away from our memory. So, we will probably drive by, but not hang out there.

ZOO LIGHTS is where he proposed to me for the second time. We were walking along one of the darker paths and he got down on one knee, ahhhh~ amazing! But we haven't been back since. So, now we are taking all the kids! The zoo was a special place for us... we love animals and we used to spend a lot of time there when we were dating. We also used to to climb the rocks and hang out at Papago Park too

Yay, I got to go down memory lane with someone who knows (or may know) what I am talking about

Okay, so 5 minutes away... now what street?

If you go West on Happy Valley just turn left on 83rd, follow the road down and we are in the complex on the left. We have a Kidnercare, Ace, a Wells Fargo, and a Dunkin Donuts in the plaza. The back of our building faces the street.

This is so exciting!!

lol, I never go there. I'm not a coffee drinker and they are always out of the good donuts when I get there. It's a dunkin donuts/baskin robbins. Ice cream is where the trouble comes in.

Actually, it is so exciting... and you really are down the street and around the corner! how cool is that?!?

And YES! my husband is a hardcore sweetie! I love that man!!! He is home sick right now, and I am hoping he doesn't get too bad that he cannot travel... I wouldn't mind staying home to be honest, but it would KILL his mom! I couldn't do that to her!
